Fellow Down Fans, Derek and Dan recently had the opportunity to talk with legendary New Orleans drummer, Jimmy Bower. As you may know, Jimmy has played with many blues, rock, and metal based bands out of New Orleans including, Eye Hate God, Crowbar and COC. It was an honor and privilege to talk to such an inspirational figure in heavy music and we sincerely appreciate Jimmy and Down’s management for making this possible. During the interview, Jimmy talks about the upcoming Down DVD, Eye Hate God DVD, Down’s recording process, being a “band slut,” what he is currently listening to and much more. So sit back, relax and enjoy a chat with Down’s Jimmy Bower, courtesy of the only magazine that matters, MUSIC PATCH.

I had the privilage to sit down in front of my computer and have a little one on one interview with the bassist of Alaska and Me, Charles. ...Here's to Alaska and Me... www.myspace.com/alaskaandme Members: Tyler Cox (Vocals/ Guitar) Ben Turner (Guitar/Vocals) Bethany Gentry (Keyboard/Vocals) Ian Dupeire (Drums) Charles Ellsworth (Bass) | | No comments for this item |

SAM THE BOY You know that type of music that makes you feel, love, live? I hate to get all emotional on your ass, but I can't help it. After listening to Sam the Boy, the music of 24-year-old Arizona native Ryan Sullivan, you'll feel the same. Full of heart and passion, he's doing something right as far as making you feel each note he plays. Do yourself a favor and check out this AIM interview with singer, songwriter, lover and self-proclaimed pick-up artist.
