Mega Moves Dance Fest

Future Hype, has developed and created a dance crew competition fashioned after the hit new show, "America's Best Dance Crew" on MTV. The event will consist of two age groups, youth (5-12) and adults (13 and above). There will be up to 30 dance crews in total. Both age groups will be judged by scorecards. The youth division will be one round, top score wins. The adult division will be a two round competition where the top 3 crews will move on to the final round. The final round will conclude after an open freestyle break dance. After the competition is complete, a special guest artist will give a wind up blow out performance.

The 2nd Annual Mega Moves Dance Fest is a Dance Competition established to bring together the local community. In doing so, a percentage of ticket sales and all purchases and proceeds will be donated to Stony Brook Children’s Cancer Foundation. The Children’s Cancer Center at Stony Brook Hospital provides crucial support for clinical research programs. Growth in clinical and basic research ensures patients have access to the latest advances in oncology.

Children from the Stony Brook Cancer Foundation will be attending our event. Our goal is to assist children that need our help as well as to bring awareness to these children’s needs. Organizations such as Stony Brook Cancer Foundation require the help of all willing patrons and volunteers to help create a Mega event to help better the lives our youth. Every gift can launch a transformation.
