Listening to the Real Be Easys’ “Lost Paradise” is like gulping down lukewarm tap water after a 5K run; it’s not great, but I’ll take it. I listened to the album for about three hours and I didn’t look at the beta disc because listening to the alpha gave me more than enough of the Real Be Easys. The album is just too nostalgic of old Red Hot Chili Peppers funk and overall it sounded like the RHCP’s self-titled first album. Remember that creepy “Mommy, Where’s Daddy?” song? Yeah, it’s like that. | | This item includes 1 comment |

ALASKA AND ME
Plain and simple, these Arizona natives know how to rock. With both a melodically catchy and lyrically intelligent sound, the future for these young rockers looks bright. I had the privilage to sit down in front of my computer and have a little one on one interview with the bassist of Alaska and Me, Charles. ...Here's to Alaska and Me... www.myspace.com/alaskaandme Members: Tyler Cox (Vocals/ Guitar) Ben Turner (Guitar/Vocals) Bethany Gentry (Keyboard/Vocals) Ian Dupeire (Drums) Charles Ellsworth (Bass) | | No comments for this item |

SAM THE BOY You know that type of music that makes you feel, love, live? I hate to get all emotional on your ass, but I can't help it. After listening to Sam the Boy, the music of 24-year-old Arizona native Ryan Sullivan, you'll feel the same. Full of heart and passion, he's doing something right as far as making you feel each note he plays. Do yourself a favor and check out this AIM interview with singer, songwriter, lover and self-proclaimed pick-up artist. AVU With an average age of just 19, A Verse Unsung may be young rockers, but they certainly aren't new to the scene. Already making an incredible impact on today's music, AVU is setting themselves apart from the "typical" rock that crowds the radio. The recent release of their new album, Sleeping Tigers has already received much acclaim from their constantly growing fan base. We can only expect great things from these guys. Check them out at: http://www.myspace.com/averseunsung and read this interview I got to have with guitarist/singer Jake Scherer. Enjoy -- | | No comments for this item |
