Striving in Greater Hopes Between Sin and Solitude, the first release from hard rock new-comers Striving in Greater Hopes (S.i.G.H), is a crushingly heavy and emotional masterpiece. Carefully crafted to appeal to heavy and pop music lovers alike, S.i.G.H isn’t afraid to revive what has unfortunately become an indistinguishable music scene. So, turn off your radios and throw away that outdated pop-punk CD because after listening to this album, music will never be the same to you again. | | This item includes 3 comments |

VANNA With the release of Curses Boston's Vanna has seen national exposure. What they haven't seen is an impromptu chat room interview with me. Today, two members survived the ordeal. Inside is the completely unedited, completely irrelevant, completely insane conversation. Thanks to Shawn and Chris, and to Brandon, Evan, and Nick - even though they couldn't make it. This is long, and at times vulgar. But I'd like to think it's pretty enjoyable also. Check it. | | This item includes 1 comment |

Striving in Greater Hopes Hard rock fans are in for a musical revolution as Striving in Greater Hopes (S.i.G.H), a band hailing from Long Island, New York, plans to release their long awaited full length record in September. The album’s title, “Between Sin and Solitude”, represents the band’s aggressively melodic attack on heavy music that is sure to keep fans of rock wanting more from this dynamic four-piece. The disc is composed of eleven carefully crafted tracks that touch on real life subjects and emotions. Each track, with the exception of an explosive cover of Alanis Morissette's “You Oughta Know”, is completely original and will satisfy fans of metal, hard rock, pop, and alternative music. ... | | This item includes 2 comments |
