Long Island metal act Year of Confession delivers nothing but brutality with their new 3-song demo. The raw emotion coupled with each hard hitting chord on every track is unrivaled by any so-called competition. Simply, it is a headbanging masterpiece.

Still Remains
Still Remains

With their new release of The Serpent and their growing fan base, metal act Still Remains is unstoppable.  From their never ending touring schedule to their constant dedication to rock, the Michigan natives have matured immensely since their last release, showcasing their talents and experiences on The Serpent.

With their aggressively melodic approach to music writing, Still Remains is a force to be reckoned with.

WARNING: once you start listening to this album, you will not be able to stop.

Check out the interview I got to have with Mike Church.   We chatted about music, Peter Gabriel and Smurfs.

Enjoy.

Corn Dogs are meant for mouths, not butts
Faulter
Faulter's new EP (a follow up to 2006's Darling Buds of May)couldn't be more aptly named. Distancing themselves from the somewhat generic pop-punk instances that occured on the last CD - which was nonetheless enjoyable and exhibited talent - The Other Side shows Faulter has matured into a sagacious and folksy version of their former selves.

That hippie shit, only louder
The Sanctity
Although a few months old at this point, this CD rocks so hard I'm not sure why Sanctity didn't release it with a warning. If you're in any way not ready to rock, do not approach this album because it will kick you straight in the face. It may even burn your house down as you're crippled from the attack.

Don't say you weren't warned.
