The Receiving End of Sirens After their release of Between the Heart and the Synapse in 2005, The Receiving End of Sirens gathered quite a bit of attention, and justifiably so. The album was a meandering array of cacophonic dissonance turned, somehow, into beauty – and it never once let up in the grip it took on the listener. It’d be effortless for the band to re-create the sound that they nailed on Between the Heart and the Synapse, but TREOS has never looked at their maturation as a trivial matter. They match diligence with ardor, and on their sophomore effort, The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi; their extraordinary work ethic and passion for their music shines through. | | This item includes 1 comment |

Holy Roman Empire Holy Roman Empire: To many of you, the mention of that phrase sparks thoughts of monarchies and unbearable 50-minute history classes. To me, it's a kick-ass band.
Holy Roman Empire, out of Chicago, Illinois, is a rock band on the rise. Their ability to produce beautiful and upbeat yet haunting melodies is their weapon for attracting all types of music lovers. There is defenitely nothing boring about this band.
I recently got to have a little interview session with guitarist Jay Jancetic. Check it out and check them out at www.myspace.com/holyromanempire. | | This item includes 2 comments |

Website: www.myspace.com/sighband Striving in Greater Hopes Leaving audiences in a state of euphoria and awe with their vibrant and haunting vocals and hard-hitting chords, Striving In Greater Hopes, better known as S.i.G.H., breaks out of their Long Island enclave into the Tri-State area’s bustling music scene. From their multi-cultural backgrounds and their diverse wealth of influences and skills, they have strung together their own distinctive brand of music into a fusion that they have described as melodious hard rock. With their eclectic blend of hard rock and pop, they do not wish to be classified or aligned into any particular genre as they strive and evolve to create music that evokes people’s spirits. This multi-talented band boasts of their perfect line up with Cyrille Robes on vocals, Jeff Lyons on drums, JayR Castillo on bass, and Daniel Buquicchio on guitars. As a testament to their talents, they have already performed at numerous hotspots in the Northeast. | | This item includes 4 comments |
